the one show

i have written to bbcs the one show in response to their feature on the dying art of letter writing.

their feature discussed the physical act of writing. the thought that goes into every strike. they recommended if you want to learn about a person, truly learn, then read their letters. when we write a letter to someone...we give a little bit of ourselves away.

shakespeares vocabulary was over 30,000 words. the average young persons vocabulary consists 300 words.

as i am trying to let everyone know...it is all about the history and romance. how sad that one of the young people they interviewed said 'i hate getting letters they are always from the bank'.

text messages and emails have no poetry in them, no thought, no personality, no creativity. think about it this way. you can't put a text messages under you pillow...writing a letter is an event...an experience.

fingers crossed i will get a response.
