learning to laser cut

i have began my introduction to the machine that is the laser cutter. i hope to laser cut words so i can create a three-dimensional letter. i was inspired by the creations of annie vought.

i need to remember to use the lower side of the little blue helper who sets up the measurements.

i also need to remember to set speed and line depth.

there are various set up procedures.

i cannot wait to get fully inducted and get working on creating my three dimensional letter.

this is my test piece, experimenting with different line values.
