don lancaster introduced his tv typewriter. it would display 2 pages of 16 lines of 32 characters each. there was a built in RF modulator so you could connect it to any tv.
bob rethemeyer's prototypes of building a tv typewriter are shown below. he describes his attempts as a "curiosity with no meaningful purpose"
